Core Range - Laminated Plywood
Our Laminated Plywood range has been inspired by the simplicity and timelessness of architecturally designed Modernist kitchens of the 60s and 70s. It marries high quality counter-top grade laminate with a substrate of responsible birch plywood, the best plywood in the world for joinery, with the edge laminations left expressed. The result is a beautiful panel that is very robust and long lasting, tolerant to the exuberance of family life. An honest and practical material.

Product Information

The fronts are made from 15mm 'A/B Grade' Chain of Custody Certified Birch Plywood with Multiedge Laminations, surfaced on the front and back faces with 1.2mm thick counter-top grade laminate. Total thickness of the panel is approximately 18mm. The surfacing of the laminate is done under high pressure to ensure lifetime bonding. The Chain of Custody Certification ensures the plywood has been sourced from responsible forestry practices.

Standard or Matte

We offer our laminated fronts in both a standard laminate and a matte, fingerprint resistent laminate at a higher price.

Two Price Options

The fronts are available 'Straight off the Saw' requiring sanding and finishing to the edges or 'Finished' where all edges have been sanded and finished with three coats of Polyx®-Oil Raw.
Colours

The laminate is available in White and Black colourways with custom colours available by request with an increased price (see quoting sheet).

Tall Doors

If you need doors 120cm tall or more, we recommend ordering an MDF laminated door with sympathetic edging, to avoid too much movement in the door (see 'A Word About PLY'). We can still supply you with tall plywood doors, but the warranty does not cover any movement of the plywood.
